Moo Gourmet Burgers will hold its first annual “Paint for a Brighter Future” weekend at the Newtown restaurant Saturday and Sunday, the 25th and 26th of September, in the hope of raising money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
For a small donation, artists of all levels and ages will be able to paint their own version of a Moo cow on a giant canvas in-store, which will be displayed in the King Street restaurant after the event.
All donations from the weekend will be given to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, who help seriously ill children around Australia.
Moo Gourmet Burgers owner Adam Gerondis says he is “thrilled to be able to get people within the community involved in such a wonderful cause”.
Moo Gourmet Burgers continuously supports the Starlight Children’s Foundation, donating 50cents from every Little Cow™ Meal sold at the company’s restaurants. Moo Gourmet Burgers has donated over $1000 to the foundation so far, and hopes to contribute several thousand dollars each year.
